As part of the regulatory reporting team you will have a diversified responsibility within a dynamic environment. You will participate in the complete process of regulatory reporting to the banking supervisor “De Nederlandsche Bank” (DNB). This process entails preparing regulatory reporting policies to submitting regulatory reports to DNB and every step in between.

Here’s a little taste of your challenge…

  • Preparing, analyzing and presenting regulatory reports and KPI’s to stakeholders (internal & external) in Excel and other tools
  • Participation in Finance Transformation: set up requirements for automation of data flows
  • Analyzing and implementing upcoming regulatory requirements
  • Improvement of processes, regulatory reports, analysis and dashboards

The team

About 16 professionals are part of the Finance & Control team of Knab / Aegon Bank N.V. The Finance & Control department is split into Business Control, Financial Control and Regulatory Reporting. The finance team is a lot bigger than only Regulatory Reporting as this team consist of 5 people (including this position). You will be reporting to the Team lead Regulatory Reporting.

Your profile

There is no set route to become a great Controller at Knab. But to be successful in this role, this is the kind of profile we have in mind:

  • You have at least 7 years of relevant experience in accounting and/or reporting, preferably at a financial institution
  • A bachelor or Masters in Business and Economics
  • You have excellent analytical skills and a critical attitude towards your own work
  • You are eager to learn, result driven, pro-active, structured and a team player
  • Knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements (Basel, CRR, CRD) and experience with SQL and Power BI
