Role

Here’s a little taste of your challenge…

  • You will be analysing all internal knab and external data to gain fact based insights and algorithms for the entire organization;
  • You know or are keen on learning machine learning techniques;
  • You also know or are keen on learning how to put models into production;
  • You work in multidisciplinary teams.

Team

The department Data, Analytics and Pricing consist of 15 young professionals with a big heart for Data. All communicative “beta nerds” who get energized by complex data challenges (and a Friday afternoon beer). By using advanced techniques the department supports all parts of Knab in strategic decision making for which a complete set of internal and external data sources can be tapped in to.




Your Profile

There is no set route to become a great Data Scientist at Knab. But to be successful in this role, this is the kind of profile we have in mind:

  • You have a degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Econometrics, Mathematics, or a similar quantitative discipline;
  • You have a deep understanding of numbers in combination with strong business acumen;
  • You have the technical competence to perform more advanced analytics like Random Forest, Support Vector Machines, Neural network, Deep learning, Markov etc.;
  • You have good coding skills, e.g. Python or AWS Sagemaker skills.

 

Note: You need to be eligible to work in the EU.
