The challenge at hand is to develop a digital value stream, using modern technology and co-creation with clients. Aiming for a market introduction later this year, we are now seeking for talent to help re-imagine lending. 

The role
The role of Sales Director Business Lending is a new position within Knab and an exciting opportunity for someone entrepreneurial with a strong passion for (digital) sales and the drive to launch a new line of products within the SME Lending domain.

A taste of your activities and responsibilities of the role are:

  • Launch the new KNAB lending proposition to the market and drive business growth by designing and implementing an effective sales strategy;
  • Manage the sales channels (digital and intermediaries), optimizing lead generation and conversion, taking responsibility for delivering on customer promises and sales targets;
  • Build, coach, control and motivate the sales force to develop their skill to ensure that a high professional standard is achieved and monthly sales and KPI targets are met;
  • Build and lead an customer service teams that runs the onboarding and servicing of lending clients, aiming for best-class service, well-oiled processes and further automation;
  • Continuously improve sales & customer service performance at each stage of the process, using analytics to improve lead generation, conversion and efficiency metrics;
  • Closely work together with CX, Product and Analytics to translate client needs and suboptimal processes to actionable input for the product backlog

The team
As Sales Director, you are part of the lending value stream team that encompasses all disciplines (e.g. CX, data, credit specialists, sales, customer service, engineering) to deliver value for customers. You hold a key-position within the Lending domain as your team is responsible for both the origination of new loans and the flawless execution of all operations for our lending products. You report directly to the Chief Lending Officer of KNAB.

Your profile
There is no set route to become a great Sales Director at Knab. But to be successful in this role, your profile matches the following:

  • You have a proven track record in setting up and implementing a sales strategy, leading a team towards growth of volumes and revenues;
  • You know your way in the world of financial advisors & accountants and you have an understanding of SME clients and their (financing) needs;
  • You are flexible and love the dynamics that are involved with building new propositions and bringing them to the market;
  • You have extensive knowledge of lending products, processes and regulations;
  • You have outstanding communication, presentation and interpersonal skills;
  • You are a hands-on and energetic leader with a focus on developing your colleagues;
  • You make informed and verified decisions based on data;
  • You are a self-starter with the ability, agility and motivation for self-learning;
  • You can identify yourself with our customer`s challenges and think proactively in new ways to create value for our customers and (internal) stakeholders;
  • You have a Bachelor degree and at least 10 years' relevant working experience.
