In a nutshell
Our business transformation consultants have specific focus areas, one of them being project management. As a business transformation consultant in this focus area, you will manage various regulatory & compliance and/or IT projects in order to improve the bank's framework and meet evolving business and regulations. Staying a compliant bank and transforming our IT is key to keep delivering on our promise and improve the ability to add value for our customers.

In this role you are responsible for the coordination and delivery of a large project/program or multiple smaller projects at the same time. You deliver the projects within agreed time and quality standards by driving delivery excellence and continuous improvements. Key responsibilities include project planning, monitoring & control, progress reporting, solving issues that arise and budget management. Influencing and interacting with various internal and external stakeholders at a strategic, tactical but also operational level will be a daily part of your job.

You are analytical, sharp and not afraid to get your hands dirty! Real value is delivered by doing, not only by talking. You have a track record of engaging with stakeholders and developing relationships with them. Moreover, you have excellent problem-solving skills. Expect a high impact role where you can take real ownership and get a lot of autonomy.

The Team
The Acceleration Unit has a birds-eye view on the company, and accelerates where needed and possible. This team reports directly to the CEO, which supports the objective, helicopter-view on the organization. The team consists of 11 colleagues who fulfill different roles, all with the aim to bring acceleration to the company. Like Jelmer and Patrick, two of our organizational coaches responsible for the way of working and team/stream effectiveness within Knab, but also Michael and Ritesh, two of our business transformation consultants who accelerate on operational excellence and strategic tracks. Romy is the lead of the team, and in this role responsible for the acceleration strategy, and of course for the Acceleration Unit as a team.

Your profile
You recognize yourself in the following profile;

  • You have a track record in driving various IT and/or regulatory projects;
  • Experience gained in banking and management consulting are highly regarded;
  • Fluent in English. Dutch is great but not essential;
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and reporting capabilities;
  • Comfortable operating with a strong level of autonomy and/or under pressure;
  • Organized and delivery-focused, with attention to detail;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills;
  • Experience in working successfully with stakeholders at every level;
  • Open, entrepreneurial, human and positive are values that you can relate to.
