Agile teams

We work in agile teams at Knab. These teams have a specific assignment. For example: how do we make it as easy as possible for someone to become a Knab customer? The team has all the people and expertise it needs to accomplish changes for our customers. During the Thursday morning demo, we share our results with all our colleagues at the Knab café.

Scrum

The teams generally follow scrum methods, but we also follow other agile methodologies to accomplish our goals. Everyone can choose their own approach as long as we can all work well together. We offer training and certification if necessary to support the teams.

KIP

The whole company comes together once a quarter for KIP day. KIP stands for Knab Increment Planning. On that day we review the past quarter and reflect on the successes we have booked. We discuss whether there is any reason to adjust the strategy, and make plans for the upcoming quarter. Which team will tackle what? How can we help each other? All to achieve as many of our goals as possible. We end KIP day with some kip” (Dutch for “chicken”) and drinks, so that we can turn our plans into action the next day and go full speed ahead.
