In a nutshell

As a  Data Scientist you are part of the analytical back-bone of Knab. You like to take on complex challenges and you are not afraid to get to the bottom of things but recognize situations where a swift solution is the best answer.

Your main responsibilities:

• Apply statistical and machine learning algorithms to solve real business problems
• Deliver models with high degree of quality (data preparation, modelling, testing and validation, documentation and deployment)
• Conduct responsible AI (explainability, non-bias and fairness)
• Interact cross-functionally, making business recommendations with effective presentations of findings at multiple levels of stakeholders
• Actively share your knowledge to help us grow as a team
• Take ownership of your personal development

The department and team

The Expert Center Data and Analytics (ECDA) department consists of 40 dedicated data professionals with a big heart for the business value of Data. ECDA consists of five teams: Data Science and Analytics, Enterprise Data Office, Data architecture and modelling, Data Warehousing, Data Engineering & DBA. The department works with all functions of Knab and is Knab’s Center of Excellence for “all things data”.

We play a key role in managing Knab data as a strategic business asset, providing actionable insights and intelligent analytics, innovate with AI and enable Knab to become the data-driven #1 bank for entrepreneurs.

The Data Science consists of all communicative 'beta nerds' who get energized by complex business challenges.
