In a nutshell
We want to increase the engagement with our customers and be as personal and relevant as possible. Your impact will be big, as you will enable our digital marketeers to get the most out of the interactions with our customers via the messaging channels (e-mail, SMS, in-app & push).

So as a Direct Messaging Specialist in messaging you are a true expert and the go to person for advice on your area of expertise. You will focus on optimizing & uplifting the maturity of the direct messaging channels (email, in-app, push, sms). As an expert you will identify the latest trends and technologies affecting the direct messaging channels and define how we work with direct messaging across (marketing) teams.

Furthermore;

  • You will give advice to the (marketing) teams to work efficiently with the direct messaging channels and support with the execution of activities via direct messaging if needed;
  • You will develop (new) features that will help digital marketeers in their daily work;
  • You will give advice on how to anticipate on messaging behavior and present opportunities and possibilities and support implementation;
  • You will support the digital marketers in building customer profiles. There is a lot of data available, together with BI & Analytics you ensure that the right datasets ate available. Furthermore, you will be responsible for upholding the quality of the used profiles;
  • You will be the owner of our messaging platform CanopyDeploy (formerly known as 'Clang') and (get to) know all the ins and outs of the platform and take proactive measures to solve issues related to direct messaging;
  • You will solve incidents (marketing & operational) and communicate the solution clearly so we can learn from incidents;
  • You focus on innovation and exploring the new digital marketing methods to drive the digital maturity of your expertise over the (marketing) teams.

The Team
As Direct Messaging Specialist you directly report to the Manager Digital Channel. The expert center focuses on defining guidelines across the (marketing) teams to maximize efficiency and support the (marketing) teams in achieving maximum value for our customers.

You will collaborate with the other digital channel specialists to bring paid advertising and organic closer together. Off course you will also work closely with your stakeholders (a.o. Digital Marketeers, Customer Journey Experts, Database Engineers, Data Scientists) to ensure that we get the most out of our messaging channel.

Your Profile
You are the expert on direct messaging and will help the (marketing) teams to deliver value to the customers. You possess the following;

  • You have experience in database marketing;
  • You have advanced html experience;
  • Extensive experience with several ESP's and direct messaging tools( preferably Canopydeploy or platforms like Salesforce, Selligent, Marketo, etc.);
  • 3+ years as a specialist in the direct messaging work field;
  • Fluent knowledge of Dutch.
