You are curious and creative. You have an eye for quality and you know how to communicate with your team members in order to improve the delivered features. You have the ability to clarify requirements and validate them against the delivered software. You understand the fundamentals of Test Automation and are willing to learn to apply this in your future work. You know that quality doesn't come from testing alone, but is hidden in every stage of the building process. At Knab we have each other's back!

Here's a little taste of your challenge:

• As a member of the software development team you support all phases of the software development lifecycle, from product inception to start of production and beyond;
• Identify requirements and ensure that these are properly documented in the User Stories;
• You communicate the testing results back to the Developers and Stakeholders;
• You collaborate with other teams and members of the test guild with a desire to teach and learn from others;
• Keep track of the latest technologies and practices in Testing and QA.

What we expect from you:

There is no set route to become a well-respected QA Engineer at Knab. But to be successful in this role, this is the kind of profile we have in mind:

• Several years working experience in functional testing;
• Familiar with automated testing frameworks e.g. Selenium, Specflow/Cucumber (BDD);
• Familiar with API testing e.g. Postman;
• Experience within Agile working environments (SCRUM/Kanban);
• Experience with CICD tooling (Azure DevOps) and familiar with Cloud Platforms (AWS);
• Experience with front-end and back office validation testing;
• Basic programming, (DB) querying and scripting skills (C#, Typescript, JavaScript);
• Experience with Salesforce is an advantage;
• Experience with the domain of Lending and Mortgages is an advantage.

Note: You need to be eligible to work in the EU.
