In a nutshell
Our entire organization now consists of about 550 passionate colleagues, who all work on our purpose ‘let customer feel at ease when it comes to their finances, every day'. They form cross-functional teams, value streams & foundation streams that are responsible for building, maintaining, selling & servicing the bank and all its propositions, products & processes. Here's a little taste of your challenge…

  • You'll be working closely together with teams based on their necessity. You help them adopt & continuously improve their way of working, maximizing their learning curve;
  • You coach them how to experiment and how to validate their hypotheses on business value and prioritize accordingly;
  • You build high performing teams by challenging team members to improve themselves, the team and the company. You support their endeavours to become more self-organized and to operate autonomously;
  • You guide the team in becoming more transparent and strengthen their ability to proactively and timely detecting issues and impediments, and help the team solve them;
  • Together with the other coaches, you use scaling techniques to help the cooperation between teams and improve the organizational agility of Knab in order to become a learning organization.

The Team
The Acceleration Unit has a birds-eye view on the company, and accelerates where needed and possible. This team reports directly to the CEO, which supports the objective, helicopter-view on the organization. The team consists of 11 colleagues who fulfill different roles, all with the aim to bring acceleration to the company. Like Jelmer and Patrick, two of our organizational coaches responsible for the way of working and team/stream effectiveness within Knab, but also Michael and Ritesh, two of our business transformation consultants who accelerate on operational excellence and strategic tracks. Romy is the lead of the team, and in this role responsible for the acceleration strategy, and of course for the Acceleration Unit as a team.

Your profile
There is no set route to become a great organisation coach at Knab. But to be successful in this role, your profile matches the following:

  • You speak English fluently;
  • You have 5 years of experience in coaching teams and organisations in a tech environment;
  • You've been part of an agile transformation and have experience in guiding the teams during that transformation;
  • You can explain your contribution in growing high performing teams & growing the maturity of an organisation;
  • You have experience with some scaling/cooperation frameworks;
  • You'll work in a technical environment, so you're tech savvy and know your way around quality standard;
  • You know your own strengths and contribution in growing high performing teams & the maturity of the organisation;
  • You can see the broader picture and what interventions are needed moving forward for the teams and the organisation;
  • You are not afraid to have an opinion and use it;
  • You are willing to learn and therefore ask proactively for feedback;
  • You keep enhancing your own skills continuously and you contribute actively to our agile community @ Knab.
