In a nutshell
The role of a Risk & Portfolio Manager is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong affinity with lending and relevant regulations and a track-record of getting things done.

As a Risk & Portfolio Manager, your role is to manage the risk-return on the lending portfolio of KNAB. You have a leading role to define smart lending standards based on the business strategy and relevant regulations and policies. The measure of success is the sustainable growth of the lending portfolio within KNAB.  

You will be part of the new Business lending team. As a Risk and Portfolio Manager, you will work closely together with colleagues in all disciplines (e.g. CX, data, credit specialists, sales, operations, engineering) to deliver value for customers.

Furthermore:

• You help develop superior lending propositions that distinguish KNAB from the competition in the market
• You translate business strategy and relevant regulations (e.g. EBA Guidelines) into standards that guide the operating Lending procedures
• You develop the control framework for the Lending Value Stream to manage the involved risks and improve strategy execution
• You continuously improve the risk decision engines for loan origination and loan monitoring based on data-driven insights
• You monitor the performance of the lending portfolio and pro-actively bring actionable advice to the table
• You shape your own role and the way that KNAB defines risk & portfolio management

The Team
Within Knab we work agile and you will be part of a multidisciplinary team. This means that you will form a team together with a Product Owner, Lending specialists, Customer Journey Experts, Data analysts and IT developers.

Your Profile
There is no set route to become a great Risk & Portfolio Manager at Knab. But to be successful in this role, this is the kind of profile we have in mind:

• At least 5 years experience with lending and risk management
• You have a strong affinity combining business strategy and regulations
• You have a passion for data and smarter solutions
• You have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• You have experience in analysing data to draw business-relevant conclusions
• You are a self-starter with the ability, agility and motivation for self-learning
• You love to challenge the status quo and are eager to propose creative solutions
• You have a Master degree
