Agile Delivery Manager

You are responsible for the decisions that build high performing teams, where people are excited about the work they are doing. You will lead a team of developers and manage project needs.  You will feed these needs into the programme/portfolio process to enable resources to be appropriately allocated.

You’ll keep the team energetic, break down barriers for your team and make sure you create a professional and comfortable team. Furthermore your are responsible for: 

  • Data driven descission making and being able to get the right information, in the right format and with the right amount of detail, to the right people
  • Ensure there is enough capacity to fulfil the teams mission. As such, you will be involved in recruiting and people management tasks
  • Ensure technical alignment across teams, and promote the technical vision
  • Integrating different teams’ various efforts, point out possible bottlenecks, hidden dependencies, and capacity mismatches
  • Help manage the budget and relationships with vendors

The team

There are currently 3 Delivery Managers managing several teams. Your team will be +/- 25 developers including external employees, some aof them are located abroad. You will report directly to our Head of IT Development.

Your profile

There is no set route to become a successful Delivery Manager at Knab but to be successful in this role, this is the kind of profile we have in mind:

  • Proven experience in managing a development team and understanding of coding
  • A background in software development and solution architecture is not mandatory, but highly auspicious
  • You are someone who combines significant engineering, architecture, project and line management, and product delivery experiences with an excellent understanding of agile methodologies, frameworks and tools
  • You are fluent in English and have experience with working in international companies and remote teams
  • You are eligible to work in the EU
