The best possible customer experience starts with ensuring the quality of our software. And that is your task,  you have a vision on the implementation of test automation and you help to shape the strategy for the whole department. You enjoy coding and scripting, are not afraid to try new technologies and support colleagues to best implement Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery.

At Knab we are looking to speed up software delivery, the aim is to have all tests triggered automatically. That’s where you come into play, we need your help to set-up automated test and integrate them in our CICD pipeline. Providing feedback to the development team as soon as possible.

Here’s a little taste of your challenge…

  • As a member of the development team you support all phases of the software development lifecycle, from product inception to start of production and beyond.
  • Automating functional and non-functional test for the front- and backend systems.
  • Contribute to the Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery pipeline.
  • Collaborate across other teams and members of the test department with a desire to teach and learn from others.

There is no set route to become a great Test Automation Engineer at Knab. But to be successful in this role, this is the kind of profile we have in mind:

  1. Several years working experience in test automation.
  2. Advanced programming and scripting skills (C#, Javascript, Powershell).
  3. Familiar with automated testing frameworks eg Selenium, Specflow/Cucumber, TDD.
  4. Familiar with API testing  e.g. Postman/Newman/SoapUI
  5. Experience within Agile environments (SCRUM/Kanban) and CI/CD (Octopus/ Jenkins/ CodePipeline).
  6. TMAP and/or ISTQB certified is welcome.

Note: You need to be eligible to work in the EU.
