In a nutshell
In this role you will focus on Financial and Professional Services, one of the most important and challenging categories within procurement for Knab. Our fully digital bank delivers high-quality, secure and easy-to-use solutions to enable Knab to rapidly introduce new services for entrepreneurs. In order to support our organization with further growth and the introduction of new products, we are looking for a Procurement Manager that can drive sourcing and vendor management activities for the financial services, various professional services and IT consulting categories.

As a Procurement Manager you will implement and execute the procurement strategies, manage the Financial and Consulting Services supplier base and support Knab with the integration of respective services into the new organizational structure.

Furthermore you will:

• Manage strategic/tactical supplier relationships and contracts in dedicated categories;
• Partner up with your stakeholder groups on a strategic/tactical level to identify their business needs. You will  act as their partner on procurement topics and work together to develop solutions and recommendations;
• Conduct supplier visits, risk assessments, performance reviews,
• Perform contract and procurement negotiations on multi-layered issues through analysis, interpretation, investigation, and research of complex contractual information;
• Advise team leads and management on contract interpretation;
• Support business with ad-hoc sourcing requests;
• Manage end to end sourcing process and contract implementation including sourcing, awarding, contracting, and monitoring contract and supplier performance through annual health checks and due diligence activities;
• Support the implementation of Knab’s Procure-to-Pay roadmap: from tools to process;
• Develop and execute integration roadmap to the new business organization structure (as a part of the project team);
• Drive various team activities: from processes execution to organizing team events.

 
Your profile

• 3-5 years of experience in professional services procurement, preferably within a regulated environment;
• Strategic mindset and the ability to develop effective strategies for supplier selection and management of relationships;
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization;
• Negotiation skills;
• Ability to review financial services and other professional services contracts from a commercial and legal perspective;
• Enjoying working in a fast paced environment where activities are flexible, but where you’ll actively contribute in taking our Procurement and Vendor Management strategy to the next level.
